this program is very good. only problem is that, that some objects are not supported in this converter so they were lost during the proces(barcode).

Received PDF file from supplier, did not want to redraw the drawing in AutoCAD. Supplier did not want to give me the drawing in AutoCAD. Used PDF_DWG converter and now I have a working drawing which I can use in AutoCAD.
Still need some work on the end-result of convertion, but I am pleased.

dear sir,

pdf to dwg is marvellous software which is useful to us in converting Plans recieved by us in portable document format. we are going to discuss with our chief of survey and to our directors to order the software (Multi users).
we are more interested in "Autodwg vector now" because we are always working laboriously in Auto desk Raster design taking lot of time if "Autodwg vector now" is easier and fast we would like to pursue our higherups to purchase if its efficasy is proved. please if possible please write on that.

thanking you

yours faithfully

Scanning a pdf file and convert into dwg

Dear Sir/madame,

I would like to ask you a question about the pdf to dwg converter.

The question is this:

How come I can not convert into dwg a scanned pdf file?
I have tried to convert into dwg a scanned file drawing, but the software says: "No Dxf elements found" and it does not convert it into dwg. It is kind of error.

Could you please let me know what types of pdf files I am able to convert into dwg?
In addittion I would like to know if there is any possible way to convert into pdf a scanned pdf file with your software.

Thank you for your assistance.

Customer requirements

One of our customer has a specific requirement for digitizing their old hand made technical drawings in editable format in Autocad. For this purpose I was checking software for the same purpose.
I want to give them a complete hardware and software solution. The hardware solution is already there but main part is software to convert their drawings into editable form in Autocad. Kindly give me some more technical details to present to customer and any suggestion how to do this better way.

The few PDF files I needed to bring into AutoCAD went very well. All the resolution of the original drawing was retained. I have recommended to my company that we purchase your product.

Software wasn`t up to scratch.

I wanted to use the software to convert scanned images, both hand drawn and cad. The software could not detect the lines correctly and the converted drawing took up too much computer memory. The best way is still to redraw the whole thing from scratch, but this is very time consuming.

Not completely satisfied

The product did do its job in converting the pdf to a useable and modifyable autocad file, however It distorted much of the drawing to the point that it would have taken too much time to correct the drawing. I could have just dropped the pdf into autocad and traced it more accurately than the results I ended up with.
